How long an answer takes, by type of message
These are the targets this company answers to, and they hold whether the message is a friendly question or a formal demand. Working days here mean Monday through Friday, setting aside Scottish bank holidays.
General mail, three working days
Questions about the company, the sector it works in, or anything published on this site. If a proper answer needs longer than three working days, the acknowledgement will say so and give a date.
Include: the page you are writing about, if any, and a reply address that accepts mail from a small domain.
Data rights requests, one month
Ask for a copy, a correction, an erasure, a freeze, an export or an objection, and the answer comes back inside one calendar month, which is the deadline the UK GDPR sets. Genuinely complex cases may take up to two months longer; if yours is one of them, you hear that inside the first month, with the reason.
Include: which right you are exercising and the email address the company holds for you. Identity checks are described in part 6 of the privacy guide.
Deletion requests, 30 days to completion
Once we are satisfied who you are, deletion finishes inside 30 days. Part 8 of the privacy guide lists what survives it and why, the usual reason being the six years that UK accounting records must be kept.
Include: the subject line Delete my data and the address associated with any account.
Legal notices, by post
Formal legal notices should be sent by post to the registered office filed at Companies House under company number SC880737, addressed to WILDDECK LTD and quoting that number. Email is not accepted as service of a formal notice.
